Operating Instructions
You will need to go to your favorite app store and download the free ReoLink App onto your smart phone to be able to use our systems.
Android Smart Phones or Tablets
After downloading and installing the app, contact us and we will send you the QR code or UID code that you will need to access your cameras.
INSTALLATION USING THE QR CODE INSTRUCTIONS
Open the QR code picture on a monitor or print it out to be able to scan- tap the plus sign (+) at the top right hand corner of the app to install the camera installation. The app will automatically install the camera info and you are on your way.
INSTALLATION USING THE UID CODE INSTRUCTIONS
To add the cameras using the UID, open the Reolink app and click the "+" icon. The next screen toward the bottom, you will see a window labeled IP/UID. Copy and paste the UID numbers that I have in red as they appear one at a time to add each camera to the app on your phone.

CAMERA REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS
To remove a camera from the app- click on the cam- then gear icon- then delete and it will remove it from the app.

CAMERA PLACEMENT
I recommend that you place the cameras in a house as soon as possible once you have electric and before the appliances are delivered. We want the subs to know that we are watching what is going on. When you place a unit inside of a house, the preferred location is on the kitchen counter in a corner where nobody can access it from behind. Plug it into a electrical outlet if available. If not, the cameras will also run for several days or weeks on internal battery power depending on the amount of motion detected. I will be monitoring the camera health and batteries each day and will notify you if there is any problems. Do not place any cameras where they may get wet. They are not waterproof in this configuration.
MOTION ALARM
You will find attached to each camera rig a "key fob" that operates a motion sensor alarm inside the camera box. Each rig has it's own fob, please don't loose any. Once the rig is set into the final position, press the "lock" icon on the fob. You will hear several beeps and then a pause and another beep. This means that the alarm is armed and if anyone tries to move it or walk off with it the alarm siren will activate. Please use this feature to protect the camera rig and remember to take the fob with you and store it in a safe location until you need to move the camera to a new location. At that time you will need to press the "unlock" icon to deactivate the alarm.
GPS TRACKING
Inside each of the camera rigs is a GPS tracker that reports it's location daily or upon movement. I will be placing a digital Geofence around your project location. If any tracker leaves it's assigned area it will notify me via text and email. If you put it on the floor board of your truck and take it home I may be contacting you to assure it's location. Please inform us immediately if a camera rig disappears from it's assigned location.
POWERING UP THE CAMERA
The cameras are shipped with the power in the off position. Once you have set the camera in the desired location, switch the power on. The switch is under the little rectangle rubber flap on the camera head. Make sure to close the flap tightly.
SCHEDULING OF ALARM SIREN AND NOTIFICATIONS
If desired, I can setup the notification schedule and alarm schedules per your desired times of activation. Generally these are set to be active from 6pm to 6am daily but can be set to whatever schedule you desire. Please let me know if you would like the scheduling setup for you.
